Is there a trailer? Unfortunately, while there are good things that stop it from being complete dreck, am going to have to join those expressing disappointment in this four-part series. 2. Staffel der Serie Trust Me. Intriguing concept if done correctly but very underwhelming execution of it. The series has taken us on one heck of an emotional ride, tweaking all the right nerves and making sure no questions were left unanswered. We see the juxtaposition of him trying to learn how to walk, thrown next to an action scene of the protagonist at war, where he shoots and kills a man – confessing he thinks he can no longer live with himself. But after managing to escape custody, Zoe teams up with Jamie once again in a final bid to prove the police wrong – and find evidence on Dr Archie Watson (played by John Hannah).Things ramped up as Alex starts to mess with the patient’s medication – making us believe no one is safe and everyone is a suspect. And while we have been left gripping out chairs, we’ve always had our suspicions that Dr Zoe Wade (played by Katie Clarkson-Hill) could be involved in the crime. The four-part thriller has taken us on a dark ride over the past month, after showing a number of patients being killed off at a spinal unit in a Glasgow hospital. The final episode of Trust Me took off to a dramatic start, as they picked up from where they left off and managed to save Jamie McCain’s (played by Alfred Enoch) life. We’re slightly let down, as while Zoe was the perfect candidate to be the killer, it seems the writers wanted to catch us out and planted Debbie at the scene of the crime. All eyes turned to her in tonight’s episode, as it was hinted she got a kick out of saving people’s lives – you know, after trying to kill them. The physiotherapist ends up taking Jamie to the pool in order to build his strength. Then things get real as Jamie opens up to Debbie (played by Ashley Jensen) about his past and his time in the army.Just when we were thinking Zoe was the killer on the ward, writer Dan Sefton threw in a curveball where he showed the doctor saving the former soldier from dying.Of course, we didn’t see it coming, but that’s because Debbie was such a minor character that barely any evidence throughout the entire past three episodes led to her.The leading lady gets arrested with officers convinced she has Saviour Complex – and we’re shook. But things take a dramatic twist as she tells her patient how much she relates to his story before trying to drown him.And as the loose ends are starting to get tied up, Trust Me leaves us with a warm fuzzy feeling as Jamie starts to walk again.Yes, Debbie is the murderer – and we can’t help but think the showrunner changed his mind last minute as to who he wanted the angel of death to be.Whether or not Dan Sefton will write a series three is still unknown, but after the success of his first two seasons, we sure hope he has another up his sleeve. At the end, a fierce battle breaks out between the killer and Jamie as they fight for their lives in the pool. However, even though we hate to admit it, we’re actually warming to Hannah’s character as he shows pure emotion and empathy with his patients – he is the real innocent victim here.
